| I don’t remember for how long I’ve been concerned with athletic form, I guess as a high school sophomore while swimming for the team probably younger. These days I’m increasingly aware through physical training and advice from therapists. Overdoing it with a set of muscles can set me behind for weeks in my work-out schedule; for instance, in youth what care did I have for a warm-up or stretching, now I’m older it is the most important thing for alleviating pains. Well since the work I had on my wrist the different kinds of pain are magnified … the muscles almost vanished in my wrist and forearm.and I can feel my radius under my skin. Balance of all the close parts of my arm and wrist is going to be major, sometimes I have to compensate, switch off one set of muscles, maybe even the whole side, (take days off) it's a judgement call…so stretching and warm up, working out balanced, are all part of dealing with the pain of recovery. I don’t like pain but after a year of healing my therapist is so impressed when I can report I’m reducing my use of ibuprofen. It has been the lesser of evils to take so many pills even though I don’t like pills. Now it's the right time to start thinking about my stomach. My metabolism is mostly shot and I'm so used to the current path, it's time to quit them and look at a diet plan. | |
